I assumed that it was some kind of butcher paper, or something similar to a paster paper.
As far as I remember, in the old days, only the double sided pieces which were partly printed in POW were on heavy weight paper.
But I am sure Ink will shed some more light there.

Some of the double sided Marilyn's were printed at POW? I had always assumed only the Thug and Papel were printed by POW as those are the only 2 they sold and also assumed the reason so few signed versions of those 2 existed was because Bast never made it out to POW to actually sign any.

Definitely a must have BAST piece... you rarely see these or any from that series come up.

I didnt take your post as a pissing match at all  , I was just interested to learn that POW printed some of the double sided images. No sarcasm in my last post, just enjoy learning new things about artists I "study".
My double sided Marilyn is in red and looks alot like the one above (only signed twice on the bottom left). I bought it in person at Bast's studio in Brooklyn and the Marilyn screen was there as well, so Im assuming mine was printed there by him.
I do like alot of Bast's new stuff but these older pieces with the B-a-s-t lettering at the top are my favorite. Bump for a great print.
