Damien Hirst Butterfly Prints, by sashaz on Feb 20, 2009 3:31:30 GMT 1, looking at his website and he has some interesting prints available. Some new butterfly prints i am very tempted by. i have always wanted his jacobs ladder print (blue butterfly) buts its a bit too much for me (ยฃ13k min).
the print is www.othercriteria.com/browse/hirst/all/to_begin/ and its ยฃ3000. is that good value and do y6u think its worth getting?
tempted to see if he will give me 2 of them for ยฃ5k.

My point is a Banksy usually comes with an image and statement.
This is a picture of a butterfly that wouldnt look out of place being sold in Ikea.
Also the 3k difference days are over.

I appreciate that butterflies is becoming ubiquitous in much contemporary art but Hirst has been working with butterflies since the early 90's.

In one cormer there is an image of the a spot print on a gold background. I don't usually like gold but I think this looks great and I may go for one when they're released.
The released version will have less spots that this, probably the same as the silver.
