framing for photo, by patrese on Dec 23, 2009 20:10:45 GMT 1, i bought a photograph from an edition of 5, it's fairly large, 40" x 30". I've never bought a photo before, so have no real idea what to do for framing?! thought about perhaps just plain mounting on aluminium ...any good advice out there? thanks

framing for photo, by frontierman on Dec 26, 2009 11:17:58 GMT 1, If it's from an edition of 5, then do not mount on aluminium or face mounted on plexi with a uv protective film, you totally devalue it , it, like drymounting a print, also you only get one chance to to it on aluminium and on plexi, if thr framer cocks it up, there is no way back
