Has anyone else chopped up their Faile box?, by shower on Dec 14, 2007 17:53:07 GMT 1, i could never cut up a piece of work by an artist! now that is vandalism! if you are considering cutting it up why dont you consider selling it and using the money to buy some rare faile prints, get them framed and have them on your wall. i know its not the same as a faile box but that way you wouldnt have to cut the box up! if not use the hanging idea, that would look sweet!

Has anyone else chopped up their Faile box?, by krazy on Dec 14, 2007 20:18:40 GMT 1, You could also get a printers to copy each side of the box onto high quality paper, and frame those. Then put the box into storage away from your vandalising hands.

Has anyone else chopped up their Faile box?, by BK83 on Dec 14, 2007 20:22:14 GMT 1, faile box in perspex = mad outta place imo
maybe in your place Bobby, but that picture Harveyn posted looks like it's done in quite a nice way... How would you know if it's out of place if you've never seen it in the context of the environment of the room?

Has anyone else chopped up their Faile box?, by RBK on Dec 14, 2007 21:04:59 GMT 1, Good Lord!!! I can't believe I'm reading about you chopping up a Faile box
This idea borderlines on sacrilegious. I hope we've gotten to you in time! Agree there are a host of solutions: - hanging from cable - rotating on the wall - perspex box - just place on a bookshelf - copying images and framing those
Please don't destroy the creation/intention of the artist - plus (if you care at all about the 'value' of the piece) you'd be greatly diminishing it - and your unborn grandchildren may not like you very much if they ever are forced to sell it.
