Basicly i have been able to keep the print and the RM have paid me approx 80% of the purchase price to cover restoration and compensation costs. Print is currently at the restorers then off to the framers, i'll post pictures once i get it back
Pleased for you RH, seems like a reasonable deal considering the time taken and the way you've been put out. Maybe you could use their cash to buy a Colour Trolleys or realy nice U/S print to add to the collection now!

Obviously I've taken a calculated risk as far as the restoration is concerned, and may have to comprimise the style of framing, depending on how well it goes, but overall I'm happy with the settlement.
I had hoped that I might be able to buy another Banksy with the settlement, but I'm getting married in November and my daughter is going to university in September, so I think the money will go towards that! Although I really like eelus, not everything is black-and-white, so think I will keep a few quid back!

Really? I only just decided to move it as I could suddenly use the money for another purchase. The last few sales on Expressobeans are $4350 (with PC), $3100 (framed w/o PC), and $3900. None have been reported sold since February and I am not seeing any completed sales on ebay. I tried using the Search function on here, but it never works very well.
The print has been in a mylar sleeve on foamcore since purchased. I am in the US but will include free insured shipping (packaged very well) by your preferred carrier.

ยฃ2K on here on a good day. I tried for ยฃ2K for mine on here a couple of months ago but settled for ยฃ1850. The last one on ebay (120558763850 25th April) went for ยฃ2K (but seller paid ebay/paypal fees out of that)
