Why are so many people selling thier Micallef's?, by bobbymeachamjr on Jan 3, 2008 21:10:52 GMT 1, Lets not feel bad for the guy - I'm sure hes not losing sleep over his drop in prices. He's made a mountain of money in a very short period of time. Theres artists out there who are equally or more talented who will never make as much as hes made in 1 years time.

Why are so many people selling thier Micallef's?, by northern sole on Jan 3, 2008 21:23:37 GMT 1, the only people on a downer about micallef are the people who have tried to make a fast buck. the quality of his work in the flesh is amazing. the peacekeeper set which has been bad mouthed is awesome when framed and hung. people who have tried to jump on the bandwagon have been stung. if you love his work and dont want to turn it around quickly,. now is a great time to buy! you won't be disappointed.

Micallef is awesome once in a frame and on the wall.. All his stuff is so much better in the flesh
I think that now is the time to bag a Mic... GIWTBB is a steal at the moment IMO

It was the older fraternity of the art world seeing someone who could draw and paint with the best of them but in a style that "relates to the kids" that have bought and hyped him out of the world of "urban art" where he belongs.
For me his minatours and uzi girls are just a touch to simple (in concept) to ever become masterpieces but the self portraits and cupids are in a class of their own.
Guess he should stick to black and white!
