It's an edition of 12 I heard and pretty flat. None of the texture or overpainting etc. Not my favourite and they are/were 3000 dollars each....

That was the price for sure. But ยฃ1500 for an edition of 12 if a large image is cheap for Faile .... thats if it's a good image with some typical faile overpainting and coffee stains(!)
But I tend to agree, this one is not great so probably does not warrant the price tag.

Agree with you about the street thing. I don't think it is supposed to be 'nice'.
It is big, it has 5 layers images and when you think their big pieces are selling for $3000-$4500 on the bay, I would say priced about right for todays climate.

I remember Happens Everyday for around $4200 few weeks ago on the Bay
Evolving styles sold Sexy Bunny Boy for $3800 on the auction few weeks ago
Few on line galleries sold similar large pieces Sexy Ads, Bunny Boy, Happens everyday -ranging again around $3500-$4500.
There were few sales going between members here again $4000 for similar pieces.
Lazinc was selling Get Acquainted, Monster III, Butterfly Girl, Forbidden Love for around $6000 , Bunny boy II around $5000
I didn't mean only ebay - apologies.
You can't see many of those big pieces these days especially on the ebay.
