Its just Sound Eyes but on different paper.
"Much Happiness in the new year. Thank you all for making the choe family's screenprinting buisness' first year in business a great success!!! We just want to say thank you and we appreciate all your support.
After we released soundeyes 4 months ago in September, the print sold out in ten minutes. There was much confusion about who got there orders in first. There was much bickering and arguing, and it ate up a lot of time, and still after months there are very unhappy campers out there. So in following the laws of supply and demand, because you asked and fought for it, before we get to our NEXT next print, ...our next print will be a reprint of our most popular print to date "soundeyes" in an all new color way: dark chocolate brown and cream over a krylon gold, stenciled onto Chinese red French paper 19" x 25". please note that the prints will still be made in limited amounts, this edition will be at 187 prints, and will cost you $500
There will be 4 albino prints in the bunch where, instead of a gold background it is flourecsent orange. All prints are hand stenciled and hand screened, no two prints alike. All prints are hand numbered, titled, stamped and signed.
Please DO NOT contact Dave for prints, or send money to him.
I handle all the business regarding the prints.
If you are one of the first to respond to this email,
A print will be resererved for you in the order the emails are received
Unless you receive a response back from me, confirming your print and
instructions on how to pay, please DO NOT jump the gun by sending money
in advance. These people will be promptly refunded.
Also, since things are so bogged down at the choe camp right now, the bulk of these prints will be shipped end of February/beginning of march, so don't worry ,if you get your order in, you will get them. Shipping for U.S.A. $15, Canada $25, U.K. and Europe $30.

If he came across as a jerk in the blog post I think it was just in response to so many people complaining with the last release and probably emailing him non-stop about whether they got it or not (when in relaity half of those people only wanted it to re-sell). He is just making clear how these releases are working.
I personally passed on this release and also missed the last Snake Eyes release, this image does nothing for me.

Think it's more to do with the fact he's releasing so many prints in such a short space of time- there's a chance his aftermarket will crash for a while which sucks for everyone ("flipper" or not). Check out the buy/sell forum, sudden influx of Choe despite the fact he has a show at Laz next month. Has to be said that producing a recolour is a bit impolite to the 76 that own the old edition though, but at the end of the day it means people that missed out have another chance.

Im thinking of those a little differently than his "normal" releases I guess. Im guessing those will be of images from the LAZ show for folks that cant afford the $40,000 price-tags. Theyll probably be expensive small runs. They could also be for sale in person only.

The way Laz seems to work is that they would want the prints to be exclusively theirs which I would guess would mean in person at the show and maybe by phone if there were any left (which there wont be).
