heres the info for the show (got this email from seth):
Here's what I can tell you at the moment:
This show will contain the complete "The Morning After" series, including the "Hollywood", "Sydney", "Tokyo", "Bristol", "London" (on loan from its recent purchaser) and studies of the New York TMA images, on display together for the first time, as well as a narrative body of work focused on the exploits of the "Vandal" character from the TMA series.
Preview list members will be allowed early entry into the gallery + 1 guest, at 7pm on Saturday, February 2nd, 2008.
Those of you not able to attend the opening will be able to purchase work directly from us via email with Google Checkout starting on Sunday, February 3rd. You will receive a .pdf containing all the work before the works go online and before the gallery opens to the public on Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles. (Saturday night event is guest list only).
Unfortunately we will only have 50 of the Hollywood TMA prints and these will ONLY be available to attendees of the show, we can not sell them by phone or internet.
Black Rat Press will be selling 100 of the Hollywood TMA prints at a latter date, most likely at a show in London.

To be less judgemental, not to judge a book by it's colours.
Romany and myself had the privelige of visiting Nick at his studio just before it all got put in a crate to be shipped.
It's widely known that we are big admirer's of Nick and his work and it is absolutly knockout. L.A is in for one killer show.
That pictuure at the top is poor quality and doesn't do it justice, for starters it's about 5ft by 4ft and is top class as are numerous other pieces. The Tokyo MA is also a beauty.
Enjoy it you lucky lot in the US, be sure to post plenty of exhibition pictures.

hlarmy - exactly that artel said! the idea that anyone can be a vandal is great. writers who get up and become famous let their tag to the talking while their identity stays a mystery. to me this is along the same lines, the vandal could be anyone, their identity stays invisble while their work does the talking the morning after. graffiti is not just produced by 15 year olds with a marker pen or tool to scratch windows with!

I called it shameless, the prices were dictated by the artist, since then and due to the factors mentioned I feel these are out of line quite reasonably priced.
His more recent print editions of 100 and 125 are selling for between ยฃ300 - ยฃ800.
The one's I talk of are edition numbers of less than 20!
What would you suggest, I hike the prices or get a friend to write what I did then me jump in coveniantley jump in and mention we're selling these.
All of the points in my first post are factual......is that wrong?

I spoke to the lady of the house just before they were leaving for LA and she told me Nick was now out of the batcave and had moved very recently to the new place which I know they are excited about.Looks a lovely place,lots of room compared to the last couple of places where the boy been painting!
Love the shot of the cans ...i took some similar shots a while back,will have to upload them as well.

Then I stumbled across Pure Evil's new piece on Auction Sabateur. Is it just me or is that not a little bit naughty? I accept admiration and inspiration but that is borderline plagiarism surely

After IMHO a little bit of a dodgy start with the LA TMA, the Vandal air canvas is simply awesome. I remember a few years ago, I think talking to Nick but if not another graffiti artist, about graffing a whole plane, isn't the plane graveyard near LA??? That would get a bit of publicity for the show. Nick has already done a car so a plane cannot be that much hard ;D ;D
Regarding suited vandal, I always assumed it was a bit of tongue in cheek observation that a lot of graffiti artists are becoming respectable even corporate. May be completely wrong but thats what I tell people and they nod as if it makes sense ;D ;D ;D
