No Gallery For Old Men.
Due to overwhelming public demand and because you are young and vibrant and potentially armed with brickbats and cudgels while we are old and weary and creak slightly we have decided not to release Nick Walkerโs Hollywood print at the Print Show. Instead we will be releasing it on Valentineโs Day, between 11am and 11.01am. Online only. That way we if no oneโs sent you a Valentineโs Day card you can cheer yourself up with a lovely new Nick Walker print. Although, thinking about it, if no one sends you a Valentineโs Day card AND you miss out on a lovely new Nick Walker print, letโs face it, itโs probably not going to be a particularly great Valentineโs Day.
However, because we donโt want to kill your queuing buzz we will still be releasing the D*face prints, collages, Swoon etchings, Blek prints and one-offs at the show.

i was lucky enough to get the london MA print from the last BM show - had a mate moan at me that i didn't get him one....but only after he saw the recent prices on the 'bay. Secret is well and truly out on the whole scene

Silky knows everyones email addresses and could probably match it up with ebay accounts and name and shame those members. Not saying this should be done as it's highly unethical and probably illegal but it would be very funny.

PM's is definately not the way to go as it is then in the hands of the select few. I for one am really pleased it is going online as I had no chance of getting to the show. now we all stand the same chance. Also I am sick and tired of all the chat about flippers, some gallerys are just as bad ,if not worse, Nick's LA exhibition being a case in point, one of the canvases available was sold for $6,500, two days later the self same canvas was for sale on a gallery site for ยฃ20,000 work that one out!! |
