Browsing the ended listing for nick walker on ebay. tjhere has now been 2 London The morning after prints sold at ยฃ5000 or there abouts, one of them a buy it now, so no shill bidding involved?! didnt the one at bonhams go for that sort of money? but it was an AP i think. maybe the buyers on ebay didnt consider it to be an AP and now think 5k is the going price for the print! the money being spent on nicks stuff is stupid! i picked up the last bristol tma a week after its release, thats how it should be, not like it is now with his work selling out in under a second! congrats to nick though, i love his stuff!

These prints are on they're way people and they arrive in poster tubes the size of chimneys! I made my purchase on the 11th so it shouldnt be to long to wait.

A colleague has just his delivered to us, looks fantastic - BTW he ordered his on the 14th when he failed to score a TMA hollywood. So good luck to all who have ordered. Think the framing is gonna cost a lot more than the print. ;-)

I got the mail that they were sorting through thousand of orders beginning of last week.
Sunday I got a mail that my print was being shipped and I received it yesterday.

You say "vandals" Alsbabar, did you try and order more than one, why ?? For what it's worth I think it's a bit odd sending cash to someone when there is little idea if anything is available. When I have dealt with Nick in the past I have e-mailed and asked if something is available he says 'yes/no' and then funds sent depending on the answer, (and I turned down a TMA Bristol canvas as being a little expensive at the time).
Throwing unsolicted cash at someone and 'exepecting' service and then getting upset when that service is not forthcoming seems I little churlish to my mind .
It's a shame you missed out but only that. Giving good people a hard time due to ones own foolhardy enterprise does you little credit.

Nick could easily have increased his price x10 but has held the original price quoted! As I said earlier in the thread, top guy who stands by his word!
I feel for those 'genuine' art lovers who have missed out on some of his work, but lets face it, people have been left dissapointed because of the flippers. All joking aside, some members are slating Nick because they got refunded, if he hadn't been unindated with orders from flippers then you wouldn't have missed out! He has earned an honest living with some fabulous work, remained a talked about artist, pretty quiet and unasuming, dealing personally and directly with anyone who cared to email him, how was he to know that Bonhams and a sell out show in LA were about to hit him?
His web site has worked well over past few years, it was simply not capable of dealing with the aftermath of his success! He is trying his best to refund all those affected and will have a new web site up and running shortly to prevent this happening again!
I can assure you, there is no one more dissapointed about providing a poor customer service than Nick and Jacquleine.
It is about time he has been recognised for the quality of his work, the only problem for the likes of me and those who have supported him over the years is that his work will become far harder to aquire, unless of course you buy from a flipper! And some people wonder why some of us hate them so much!!!!
