Pirate Alphabet 1 - 12" by 15", collograph and serigraphy, unique, 2006
Pirate Alphabet 2 - 12" by 15", collograph and serigraphy, unique, 2006
Pirate Alphabet 3 - 12" by 15", serigraphy, edition of 20, 2006
Pirate Alphabet 4 - 15" by 12", serigraphy, edition of 6, 2006
There were also at least 2(I believe) 'art posters' done under the Ease name. Not editioned, not signed, sold through standard retail outlets.

Even taking my bias away (I'm considering selling one) - I strongly disagree they don't work at prints. Additionally, finding available work by Jose Parla borders on impossible and even if you do locate an original - 99% of the people on this forum can't afford them so prints or water colours are a nice alternative.

The main part of the Parla pieces is the layered effects, the graininess of each stroke or the pigments all mixed together in beauty in a watercolor. These effects fail to show up in print runs I feel, they almost look like marker tagged calligraphy, the calligraphy looks great as always with Parla, but it is not necessarily the selling point to me. I think he would be better off releasing signed lithographs of his watercolors personally

I will admit I find the Memory Document print to be extremely plain. Different strokes for different folks I guess though. It's good we all don't like the same stuff - otherwise this hobby/lifestyle/obsession would be much more expensive!

HI, a Jose 6 x 6 will cost anywhere between US$90,000 - US$100,000 (primary) and before discounts.
