I DO like it though! would look good in a bar, studio, cafe etc but not my home..

Because this is a picture of a spray nozzle with paint on it.
Please, go ahead and argue that you'd rather have a picture of rubbish like a crusty spray paint nozzle on your wall than a Shepard Fairey picture of a wave...
Both I didn't find hugely imaginative, but one appeals to the millions of surfers worldwide that dig on Sheps work, (not to mention hundreds of million who like Oceans) whereas the other work appeals to only people who like looking at the junky left overs of spray cans.
Honestly. And I own a Nick Walker piece and like a lot of his stuff... He's a great bloak and very talented...
But a miss is a miss.
Seriously dude, why the F$$K would you even make the case that this craptastic Nick Walker deserves to sell out more than 97% of Shepard Fairey pieces (I leave 3% because Shep's last print was pretty craptastic as well, but still involved actually design work beyond sceenprinting a photo of a used nozzle)
Really, this work only appeals to probably the most hardened of spraypaint fans. It makes total sense that it took 2 years to sell out.
Finally maybe Nick Walker can put this albatross of a work behind him and see his prices increase again as it fades from the collective consciousness.

secondly his prints of late have been sub-par ( excluding war by numbers ). the only reason they sell out is because fools try to flip that ish online attempting to make a quick buck which ends up blowing up in their face because the market is flooded.
why is ebay flooded with his prints after every release?? because the content is so profound or whoever bought them doesn't want to be stuck with a print that may not even be his work?
would love to discuss further but a swell hit today and i need to drive to south side for some night surf. cheers!
