At the end of the day whatever you read into it it's a new born baby with blood on it. Nothing sinister or sick.
Still a very mixed reaction from whoever comes into the house and looks at it but we absolutely adore it and it is superbly done and almost impossible to believe it's done with a spraycan.

Ya, I can imagin that a lot of people depate about the case. I own also a case and my girlfrind told me its never aloud to hang it. But as she saw the amazing art skills in real she fall in love. Now it hang on the wall ;D
For me the mother an child is also nothing about sick. As you told it is a new born baby. I think it is more the relation between the clean innocent mother and the bloody new born baby. Both visual works against each other but together they build the intenseness of the painting.
