I would not be deterred from spending ยฃ1000+ on prints from source and as previously mentioned this may deter those looking to make a quick buck. Who knows we may even get back to the days when you could pick and choose at leisure although i very much doubt it now.
With regards to unsuccesful requests, not sure i would feel confident enough not to register next time assuming already regitered unless confirmation that i was pre registered was confirmed - if that makes sense.

I'd like a soup can at cost too, but look at the bright side. There was a point in time where if you didn't get a signed prnt from POW you would have to pay well over $5000 on ebay. But I tend to think you'll be able to get this one for a relatively affordable price.
Also if you do buy a Banksy print within a couple months after its release on ebay you can report them to POW, or send an email to PC too verifying the print number and the certificate. That will also alert them. But I'm guessing you'll need proof like photos and such. But this way the wankers will be barred from POW in the future.
I just hope we don't see more sore losers blaming Silky because some twats try to sell their prints on the forum or ebay ads show up on the site for donut prints.

Wonder if success in this lottery precludes you from success in the next one? From a commercial marketing perspective (and this exercise has been, to some extent, to raise the profile/mailing lists of POW) this would stack up. Also wonder how many people would've bought this image if they had not been guaranteed at least a synthetic profit.......
