Banksy Donuts Print, by hlarmy on Jul 30, 2009 20:21:55 GMT 1, i did actually love the image, but if i didn't i would have used the lotto opportunity to get a different signed banksy that i did like for £500.simple as that.got f**k all to do with flipping.
I tend to agree; it's all about finding ways of upgrading your collection and Banksy releases are one way of doing it (although I've yet to sell a Banksy but would consider it if there's a piece I want more).

Banksy Donuts Print, by mafekingnuns on Jul 30, 2009 20:30:20 GMT 1, I find it disheartening that a lot of the discussion about 'Glazed and Confused' has been about the fairness or unfairness of lottery system; POW rejecting people who've broken the rules by submitting more than two email addresses (as if graffiti obeys any set of rules); or criticising those who 'flip' their prints. What I think is missing from any debate is the merit of the actual piece of work Banksy has chosen to release, or its meaning i.e. For starters: Why strawberry? Why chocolate? One of the reasons Banksy's work is interesting is the humour and the message behind it. In this case why is a giant donut being given a police escort? And what does this say to you?

Banksy Donuts Print, by veralynn on Jul 30, 2009 20:47:29 GMT 1, Much as I loathe blatant instant flipping of prints it's fundamentally unavoidable and thus I have become more relaxed about it but wouldn't have thought there's that many forum members who hasn't sold something for a profit at some stage.
I'm intrigued by the BNP argument though as I've always (perhaps naively) understood that beneath the public face of the party lies a beating heart of racist bigotry. I'm happy to be corrected though so what, in rough terms, percentage of the membership is racist?

Banksy Donuts Print, by monkeyballs on Jul 30, 2009 20:56:07 GMT 1, No one seems to have considered Kit Kat might have tried and failed to get the Very Little Helps & Nola prints, they also appears to have a taker who clearly missed out on Donuts and wants to swap. I would actually say thats a good result for both parties and by burning KitKat you guys could well be putting off people ready to swap with something you own, leaving them with ebay and the forum fury there too, whilst you still have the swapable print in its folder cos you haven't got the folding to buy off ebay?

You'd have to be daft to buy and sell using the same name..
In the listing it reads:
Seller info dominic_manley ( 200) 100% Ask a question See other items Other item info Item number: 190325295261 Item location: Bedminster, Bristol, United Kingdom Post to: United Kingdom
