I've not 'won' any lotteries this year (or ever) but still think it's the fairest way to release - but I do think that such a lottery should be conducted to those who are already on the mailing list and any subsequent lottery should include those registering after that event.....
Not sure this view is that 'commercial' but it's just my view.

I can see why you are angry - had I have been after this print I would be angry too that disingenous flippers like 'I love art on walls' aka 'Grantb' had managed to win the lottery. He has a proven track record in turning stuff around since yonks ago, he is the re incarnation of Stuey 1980.

Not sure where best to look, but expresso beans has listings shows 23 pink and 34 brown sold in the four months its been available so far. Thats 9.5% of edition. Now I don't know how extensive EB is, but that seems no different than the same sites sales for the first four months of stop and search which was 56 or marginally more against edition size (expresso listed) 11.2%. Lottery is by EB at least marginally better at stopping flipping.

Personally dissappointed that the MA series ends here, there are so many other ideal landmarks that would have looked great but I guess all good things come to an end! Really pleased to see those who slate Nick and his work were successful in not securing a print after not entering the draw!! ;D
Well done mate, congrats - glad to see one going to a true fan! I wasn't so lucky, but then again I do seem to have more luck in POW lotteries....

EB really is a great resource... Surprised more collectors don't use it for the collecting and tracking tools... I mean, if the forum pisses you off, just stay away and enjoy the art! ;D

Would have thought that even if it was american listing only, that american listings matching one another in a two year gap is a good indication that lotteries neither increase nor decrease flipping. Seems valid enough to me.

Actually, EB has volunteers that manually link the auctions on the UK ebay site even if the sellers don't add them themselves- especially for the big UK artists.
Obviously some are missed due to the vast number of auctions in the UK of Banksy, Walker, even US artists on the UK site like Fairey and Faile, but the bolded quotes above are incorrect.

Just out of curiosity do you give them a nice little prep email about how you have the whole series and need to complete it?
I am just asking this as I just tend to send an email with please enter me and my brother gives this elaborate story on how his life will never be the same without this print etc. and he has won several and me zip.
