Beejoir Heir Apparent?, by snakes on Jun 10, 2007 13:03:30 GMT 1, best thing Beejoir did was to get rid of his David Hasselhof avatar and replace it with Mr T. That re-occurring undie almost make me epileptic! Love his work and wish i could have a turin scam, but i suppose you cannot have everything in this life that you want!

Beejoir Heir Apparent?, by adrscib on Jun 10, 2007 16:08:12 GMT 1, Elliot first piece was fantastic, 2nd piece i like too ( i own both)... but many ppl commented on second print not to be to their liking... anyway the third print will make or break him... (i m sure he will sell out too)....
it only depends on ppl's feeling... they criticize his work or beejoir "Not for the wall".... same thing they did with banksy a few years ago when ppl bought him e.g. settled for unsigned coz not worth the price, or i did not buy it....
i believe art being bought and sold is a lot about mass psychological feelings and reactions.
Just my opinion, i wish the best for both artists.

Beejoir Heir Apparent?, by pezlow on Jun 11, 2007 10:23:08 GMT 1, We are at the beginning of a new artistic movement. There will be some artists that survive. Obviously Banksy. Most probably Shepard Fairey, Faile and Adam Neate. There will be some images that endure. LV Child is certainly one of them.
It's perhaps a bit too early to tell if Beejoir will make it as the heir apparent. We need to see more of his work. I really hope he does though.

I fully agree, one of the nicest chaps I've met since coming onto this forum, I'm sure all of us wish Chris all the best for his future work.

Beejoir Heir Apparent?, by irf2112 on Jun 11, 2007 15:24:37 GMT 1, Is it me? Am I the only one who found Elliot's first piece highly unoriginal?? As for the second piece it seems 'born to rule' was added to an image... Nothing clever or witty in the statement in my mind.
I thought Id get off the fence and say it how it is for me.

I thought this thread was about beejoir.
But as for Elliot, fantastic job on the soupcan, I liked it immediately and thought it a bit of fun (lucky enough to get number 4). I didn't buy his second print but that doesn't mean I won't buy his third, I take each piece on it's own merits and that applies to Beejoir and Banksy too.

Sure if his third print does it for me then I would attempt to purchase it. But the first 2 have been weak in my mind.
I just added this as there was some comparison with Elliot and Beejoir earlier in the thread

Beejoir Heir Apparent?, by corblimeylimey on Jun 11, 2007 15:56:51 GMT 1, Yeah I saw the comparison earlier, but it makes no sense, you may as well compare mayonnaise to ketchup, they've both got totally different styles, and one paints the street and one doesn't.

No you're not the only one, I wrote almost the very same thing on the first page.

The only way to settle this is a fight - hand to hand combat.
Beejoir vs Banksy
It may look something like this - i think you can work out who's who.

Beejoir Heir Apparent?, by Yessir on Jul 23, 2007 12:54:20 GMT 1, Hello all....
I took a bit heat from a few board members, for my assessment of Beejoir and his work.
I would be interested to know peoples views of Beejoir now, in light of his recent work.

IF I MET YOU I WOULD NOT PASS UP ON THE OPPORTUINTY TO SELL YOU SOMETHING ENTIELY USELESS FOR ALOT OF MONEY AS YOU SEEM TO BE SUCH A KNOWLEDGELESS CUNT, AND YOU ARE A LYING THEIVING SHILLING SCUMBAG TOO. FUCK OFF, YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO COMMUNICATE WITH THE PEOPLE SO TRIED SO HARD TO RIP OFF
