With all due respect what gives you the right to judge an artist? And you should care about when he started painting, because that's part of his fabric as an artist. any artist's history is pivotel in who they become and what they do.
Those who can do... and those who can't criticize.

What gives anyone the right to criticise anything? If Blek was out there, just hitting the streets still and not totally selling out at every opportunity, I'd be a lot less harsh in my judgement, believe me.
The guy's got a captive market on the back of Banksy, and the likes of this Obama piece, and its price tag are pretty offensive to my tastes. Just my opinion of course, a lot of people love him, if you do too, you shouldn't care about what any haters have to say.

The reality is a lot of the art in this scene is well over-priced, imho, but people (myself definatley included) will always extend themselves for stuff they like, unfortunately for Blek and everyone else this piece is total rhubarb.
