I think it would be more pertinent to look at current market rates rather than original cost - can't say whether the price is good or bad but what it cost 4 years ago is totally irrelevant to todays market

If you never managed to get one from source then the best you can do is find good reliable members that have sound references on here and are selling, then at least you have some certainty that it was from the original source.
Much better than buying one from someone on eBay and then find that is the 226th they've sold in the last month - then you need to really worry 
But always come here - people will readily help you and give you all the advice you need
