It turns out I did actually get a banksy but didnt realise. In the meantime I'd gone and bought this print instead. Having found out I'd got hold of a morons, this had to go, the credit card was folding under the strain. I pretty much got what I paid for it so that's cool. I'm accruing less interest on the card as a result and somebody gets to have something they wanted for cost. Obviously I'd wouldn't have liked to have got more, but i didn't put on a reserve for a reason. Just had to go.
Lol never thought I would admit to this but that MY print (well was). I went to O Contempoary on opening night, stood in the rain for an hour, queued inside for another hour, drove 40 minutes home and indured 20 minuted of abuse from the girlfriend about how terrible the print was!
My first buyer pulled out so it had to get relisted, unfortunately didnt get what I expected for it 
At least I didnt shill bid and I can sleep tonight (with an emptier wallet)

It is just not for me. I do like maybe 1 or 2% of his ideas when it has not been seen left right top and center, as his car installation and the baloon dog at the Brighton show but that is it.
Saying that each to their own...

I agree Mike, the quality of Ahmed is amazing, I also feel that BRP have priced the prints they are producing just right, at a price where collectors are buying and baggers have to think twice as most are not selling for profits. BRP may not be glad that they are not selling out so quick but I think they have done the right thing and it may stem the flow on the bay a little more. Although I still buy prints from baggers on the bay if I miss them, so maybe Im not helping  .

My Logan Hicks print arrived today & the quality of the print is stunning as you can see the layered stenciling detail on the print.
It does amaze me that the prints on BRP take their time to go compared with the time it took to shift some artists work over at POW.I refer to some of the beautiful losers prints but there is no accounting for taste.
I do like the look of Ahmed & it is a print i am seriously thinking of buying.My only problem is lack of wall space as i have over 25 framed prints hanging up already.
