There is nothing to get about Eine, he paints fancy letters and sometimes makes words with them. Seems to have a problem with the letter W. But I am also just repeating myself.

Eine • Single Letter Canvases , by RYCA on Oct 25, 2008 8:26:56 GMT 1, i've been doing minature pub signs for a while,here are a few. made with gold leaf, palladium leaf, tulip wood, hand painted. the first batch i did were based on movie lines, then i did acid heads and a 'tag' and soon i will be doing some lyrics. any thoughts/comments welcome.

(can't spell it, but the phrase used by Bruce Willis) one that they used to have in Art Republic / Tom Tom. Was tempted, but broke at the time plus AR tends to put some pretty unrealistic price tags on pieces. They are still trying to sell a Grin Reaper for £9k and had an unsigned IFTL for £3,750 when I was in Brighton last week

maybe that's the whole essence.. and is this just a case of taste.. I tried but I'm affraid nothing chances for me. But I think I can live happily without loving the Eine work

As for the Eine letters, what is there to get, it's very simple, fonts on canvas for a £125 that look great. To me that is what art is about, something that hangs on the wall that I like the look of..... I have an Eine canvas and will be getting another.

Yeah ditto that Spirit. I like the stars font and it looked great on the streets this year, just the wrong word to have hanging in my house. The Scary was still available the last time I looked, but I'm really waiting for the EXCITING, if it does indeed get made into a print. If not I supopose I could commision 8 canvas letters!!

The circus font canvasses are really slick on black and look fantastic, the vandal font is a bit ropey but there is something uniquely authentic about owning one of these canvasses! they're one of those things where you say to yourself 'I could easily do that' but you don't and it just ain't an Eine! I wouldn't hesitate to pay £125 if I really wanted another letter, and no frame costs required either!

commisions is the whole idea, the sizes are usually around a metre in length and 15-40cm in height. fonts are not limited, but i like to use a classic font like clarendon, script or hand drawn graff type text. i'm working on a few more graffiti based pieces too.
