I know its expensive considering how much they used to go for but when you consider how much it would set you back on the secondary market its defo worth not missing the boat. Congrats on the piece! The best time to buy is now, prices have gone up and will continue, just like any artwork. Hype or not.

I would trust this more if there were edition number on each letter. Without that i always figure if an artist gets hungry they are going to do what they want to pay the bills..

Plus part of the point of shelling out on canvas is the low edition numbers.

Yeah I agree with this....I like mine too. Despite my (very) minor whinge I'd like to see some more single letters in different fonts again, Circus has been the last few. I'd love to spell my name in all different fonts (I have a short name! :-) ), that would look great (IMO)!

So even a 1 of 25 is not exactly masive in comparison to a print. So I think a pretty good deal myself for something really nice and tasty.
Stick it on your wall and leave it. Let your kids sell it when your dead!!!!! They will get a few quid for it no worries.

However, there are a hell of a lot more than 26 of these out there, I believe they were £75 when he first started doing them and how many has he made since?
I've also seen Circus letters on a white background, plus Vandal and Neon ones.
You draw comparisons with prints, yet at least with a print you have a rough idea how many are in existence...
The point is, lots of people have been told the same thing, 'this is the very last batch', 'they devalue the bigger o/g's' etc... if that's genuinely the case, where the hell do a gallery score a job-lot as large as this six months down the line from?
