I have often wondered - and now pose the question here - what in the world is with the pastel teddy bear series he did? Anyone know any back story to this series (currently a whole shed load full of them on ebay.co.uk if you have missed them in the past.) Am i missing something from his artistic progression? Did he lose a bet? They are seem so out of place with the rest of his work...

Before Ben got big his website was one of those 'made on a mac' style affairs, done in the care bears style. Sounds bonkers i know, but thats how he had done it. I guess that prompted him to do the scare bears prints? could be wrong and there could be some deeper meaning, but i doubt it!
