i reckong goffy's got a fair point about eine. His lettering is cool and there's no doubt that he's a very accomplished printer and is good at picking a great font but i just can't see that there's much depth to his work. Personally i think the best thing he's done if that artomatic / ilikeprinting Grand National piece from way back that had prince charles and other imagery on it as well as some of his font work . I reckon this lead to a way better and more interesting image if you ask me and i'd wish he'd do more of that sort of stuff but seems like he's slightly stuck in a typography rut in terms of style these days and the main progressions seems to be what word or alphabet he chooses, which of a couple of fonts he wants and the size of the piece.

No disrespect to any avid eine fans out there who'll no doubt have an equally valid but different opinion

Ben is not only a true gentleman his work is totally captivating (surprisingly I might say). I have many accomplished pieces in my collection and I can honestly say that Ben's piece is up there with the best of them. I cannot explain why and maybe thats the very reason it is.

Goffy I think you have made it pretty clear that you don't like eine. In the same way that you have made it clear that you don't like damien hirst. Can't you just accept that people like different things and move on. I think Eine is great and I see a lot of artistic merit in his work. The use of words and language is something that really appeals to me.

It's fine to say you don't like something but to call someone stupid and a moron for liking something that you don't like is out of order.

Eine clearly has alot of respect in the street art world , Ben has created images people like for many years, and has done more than his fair share of work on the streets,
walking round london seeing his work puts it in context and it works, having a print/canvas/filing cab' of his is like having a small piece of London graff art in your house, with all the other pieces around it looks great,
goffy ,do you look for things you dont like or know anything about before opening your mouth? if you dont want to be insulted then maybe you shouldnt insult peoples taste by infering they are stupid for liking it,

Graham, if you bothered reading the thread you would see my first comment on this matter was 'Wow. An A' How was I insulting people with that? The insults came at me first, so butt out.
