So i got tonights game and the villa game next week for ยฃ2 a pop. result!!
I know exactly what you're saying with Lescott though, he just doesn't look like ยฃ20 million worth of player to me. A lot of everton fans were more than happy to cash in which worries me. He appears to be lacking in the defensive department both in positioning and tackling. Bring back the Dunney monster!

Said it before and I'll say it again, Lescott has the positional sense of Harvey Price, he was saved more often than not by Jagielka at Everton and ended up being shunted to left back where he couldn't cause as many problems for his team.
The problem city have is Toure isn't the type of covering defender like Jagielka is, he's one who needs a good back up too... and we won't mention Richards!
What Hughes needs to do is play Lescott left back again and bring in a new defender to partner Toure in the middle and also a new right back to replace Richards and take some of the burden off Given's shoulders as without him (Given) city would have dropped at least (in my opinion) six more points this season - all it takes is for him to have an ordinary, not even bad, couple of games and city will drop like a stone
Moyes made the deal of the year getting rid of Lescott and bringing in Distin - who is miles better.
