Hopkins is a waster, he'll happily hold and wrestle for 12 rounds as long as he gets the result. He has a habit of making good boxers look bad.
I'm with Calzaghe 100% and would love to see him getting a stoppage but I wont be putting any money on that.

Calzaghe v Hopkins, by bristolboy on Mar 30, 2008 18:20:11 GMT 1, Joe should be far too busy for Hopkins though as was mentioned Hopkins is a spoiler. Watch Hopkins use every trick in and out of the book to try and rattle Calzaghe.
Hopefully Calzaghe faces Pavlik after he wins this one.
Dont forget Woods V Tarver too, a huge fight for Woods though also a tough one. Tarver has been awful recently though its now make or break for him, I take Woods on points. ;D

Well, I'd like to say I enjoyed that fight, but I didn't... it was a horrible fight with Hopkins looking to spoil as much as he could. I have Calzaghe winning it by one maybe 2 rounds in the end so glad to see he got the decision. When it's that close in America you expect the judges to give it the American, but the result was right... although one of them had Calzaghe by a wider margin than seemed possible... two more big fights I think for Joe then bow out at the top ;D

I couldn't call it, if anything I thought Hopkins was going to sneak it given that all judges were American - not quite sure how that one had Joe 5 points clear. There's always going to boxers out there to fight (especially now) so I only hope Joe gets out unbeaten to cement his legacy...

Joe should fight Kelly Pavlik next then call it a day, all this talk of fighting Roy Jones is a joke, Hopkins was on the slide, Jones is already finished. Dont do it Joe!!!
