AVAM GRANT, by thinkbank on May 25, 2008 18:57:17 GMT 1, before he became the chelsea powerhouse we are led to believe, he was involved with some hassle (started by him and other so called pro footballers) which resulted in a couple of bouncers getting injured and one nearly losing his eyesight. the whole thing went to caught, but i cant remember what the result was, they got away with it i think, but they deffo started it.
more recently he was pissing on the dance floor of a nightclub after an England game and was also caught parking his Bentley in a disabled space when out for dinner with his mrs, (not crime of the century, but you have a duty to set an example)
ive heard other tales too, but they cant be printed here. hardly England captain material is he?

AVAM GRANT, by bmjt on May 25, 2008 19:04:43 GMT 1, Fair play, you have some backing for your opinion at least, unlike many football fans who just hate players for the sake of it, e.g. Gerrard Lampard Ronaldo etc. I personally hadn't heard about the 2 latter reports, but I think I recall the scuffle and resulting court visit.

have a look for yourself, not conclusive, but why does Tevez wipe the back of his neck?

I don't want someone representing England acting like that. They are looked up to by kids as idols and paid handsomly. I was at the match and although a Utd supporter thought it very unfair the match was decided in the way it was and felt bad for Terry. That was before I saw this.
Very sad indeed

AVAM GRANT, by Heavyconsumer on May 26, 2008 7:26:51 GMT 1, On the pitch there aren't many more commanding centre-halves anywhere in the world. Off the pitch such players should lose the right to play for, let alone captain their clubs when they're caught misbehaving, imo - the least they could do is keep their bad behaviour a little private, but they all seem to like being the flash Harry and it just goes to show that money can't buy class, which is something Terry lacks in abundance along with most of the egomaniacs at Chelsea. And the thing that winds me up the most about Terry (and most of the Chelsea squad), is the way that they lambast referees so intensely for every single decision against them right or wrong. While I loved having Moureen in the PL, this was one very negative form of gamesmanship that reared it's ugly head during his tenure at Chelsea and it's a legacy that's outlived him. Joe Cole, what happened to him? He used to have some class on the pitch, but look at the way he was ranting and raving throughout the match last week. Terry is a lousy captain, however good a player he may be.
