Can't wait...

Just to update you on all the 'AP Athletic' news. We've just got back from our hugely successful summer tour of Camberwell, Brixton and Peckham. Not only have our two attacking mid fielders successfully given up smoking (for a whole two days), but our goalkeeper is down to seven and half pies a day. Although it seems the counter balance to all this healthy living is a mild case of alcoholism throughout the team!

Injuries seem to be playing a big part in our preparation for the new season, our two central defenders have contracted the same STD, which although not life threatening, has put a real dampener on our post match communal bathing! Three fights and seven arrests over the summer have also added to the broken limbs, strains and metatarsal damage we usually get when charging around the local park.

As for the media launch of this seasons new kit, the Peckham Herald couldn't attend so we got Hilda the local gossip to try and spread the news amongst her neighbors. Although Nike, Adidas and Reebok declined our request to supply the aforementioned footballing uniform, we found the local Prim ark more than adequate enough for our needs. Yes we may look like a footballing version of 'The league of gentlemen' but damn it those white plimsolls we sprayed with gold look stunning ;D.

Okey doky, better go now as I think the centre forward has just got bail... anyone lend me £2.75?
