Go Giants!, by absyrd on Oct 23, 2007 12:17:12 GMT 1, Any of you going to the Giants/Dolphins game on Sunday? I heard that tickets sold out in under 1 hour, but I'm interested to see how full the stands are come game-time.

Go Giants!, by manchestermike on Oct 23, 2007 14:23:56 GMT 1, Think it's awful to be honest... while I'd love to see a game live (preferably the Vikings) I think this idea is terrible and I'd be fuming if this was my team.
What next, trying to move Premier League games to Asia/America... they can fuck right off

Go Giants!, by absyrd on Oct 23, 2007 14:30:51 GMT 1, The sounds of American football live at a game can't be described. You can hear them on TV, but it sounds a bit different and you can't FEEL them like you do in person. I am a Giant's season ticket holder, but this is technically an away game for us. I guess I'd be a bit mad if it took away one of my games, regardless of us having first shot at tickets.
Why the Vikings? Adrian Peterson? He is amazingly fun to watch so far.
As far as bringing a soccer game over here, it just may happen. They've tried pretty much everything else to build a solid television market for it.

Go Giants!, by goaty on Oct 23, 2007 14:34:07 GMT 1, There's been talk of that actually happening in the Premiership but not for a few years. From a fans view it's not needed, but i guess the Premiership and the teams just get to milk merchandising even more.

Go Giants!, by manchestermike on Oct 23, 2007 14:46:18 GMT 1, The Vikings were the first team I saw back in probably 92/93 when the American Football was on terrestrial tv and I don't know what it was but even though they weren't great I enjoyed watching them. It was nice not to have a team everyone else supported.
I've lost track a lot recently but we've had some great seasons, 98 was class and I still can't believe we didn't win it that year, damn Anderson!

Go Giants!, by absyrd on Oct 23, 2007 17:10:15 GMT 1, If the Giants' defense plays like it has been, and now with Miami's running back out for the season, yall will get to see some of those hard hits.
And the Giants are too "class" to have cheerleaders. Miami, on the other hand, it is right up their alley.
Enjoy.
