that game was crying out for crouch at 60 minutes. he would have worried the turks, who were not that great defensively, almost as equally as we were not that great in attack.

its so frustrating. Stevie is not in form, he's so busy trying so hard that he just not playing as effectively as he can.

I know the turks just stuck as many men as possible behind the ball after the first goal, but there should have been a way. we were wasteful in attack just as we were against everton. the defense looked shakey and hate to say it but i really think Hyppia has outstayed his welcome. a second own goal and a lack of speed to stop most of their breaks.

Babel still needs time which annoys me even more that malouda is playing well, but then he's 5 years older than Babel. Lucas looks like a fantastic prospect. Veronin and Kuyt....well, lots of work rate does not equal goals unfortunately.

i've read that we've already had meetings to put forward targets and budgets for next season, so hopefully a clinical man utd style raid on the players we want will be in order.
