I have bin well impressed with Martins  The Prem aint got many strikers like him, strong, fast, and hits the ball with incredible force ok, his shots do fly all over the place  but I think in a year or two he could sharpen up

i don't see how re-starting his career equals debt, that's just a matter of fact, remember how many games he played for juve' and where?

If I was given a position at my workplace by a gaffer that totally undermined my skills as I was previously given a role where my skills weren't put to good use it would be a waste and i'd be depressed/unhappy etc.
If a new gaffer came in, saw my potential and give me the chance of a good role in the company to ue my skills I would be in a debt of gratitude towards this person and would feel I owed them for giving me the chance.
anyway, hope that made sense lol
