Fair enough, it was derby, but its not very often that 6 get scored in the premiership. After years of waiting (been a Liverpool fan for over 30 years), this year they are looking fine.

While Derby were poor yesterday, Liverpool absolutely tore them apart in the second half. And that was without Gerrard or Carragher. Torres is coming good and I thought Babel looked very lively.
With Man U underperforming, Chelsea not looking wholly convincing so far and a still young Arsenal side, this has to be Liverpool's best chance in years.
It'll be interesting where the second tier - Everton, Man City, Newcastle etc - finish up. They're all in amongst it at the moment and have played well, but I can't see them challenging for the top closer to the end of the season.

shhhh no bigging up the gooners - I like everyone writing us off...
having watched us and then the villa game - it was like dropping down a couple of divisions...Cashley must miss the days when he played with a team that could string more than 2 passes together...
