Arsenal, by jboy on Oct 24, 2007 0:23:45 GMT 1, Woah, just got back from the Emirates where my boss had kindly given me his Club Level seats. Free drinks at half time and warm lounge. Nice.
Anyway, this is to all those people who were writing Arsenal off as 5th or 6th behind tottenham. May those words forever resound in your head.

Arsenal, by jboy on Oct 24, 2007 0:29:10 GMT 1, Bit ironic that the only thing doing well in England sports wise at the moment, is made up of other countries.
When is England going to face that we are shit at sport.

Arsenal, by jboy on Oct 24, 2007 0:40:30 GMT 1, That would be sweet! Can you call it JBOY as well.. ;D ;D
Theo, Theo, Theo, Theo...
Quote from SKYNEWS site:
'If the beautiful game is best defined by Brazil's luminaries of 1970 the current Arsenal crop are arguably the closest to a modern equivalent; and Slavia Prague will testify to such a theory after being on the end of a 7-0 thumping at the Emirates Stadium'

Arsenal, by leehambly on Oct 24, 2007 4:48:19 GMT 1, Bit ironic that the only thing doing well in England sports wise at the moment, is made up of other countries. When is England going to face that we are s**t at sport.
I tried to let it go, while I agree about the premiership... but just can't help myself...I'm sorry but last weekend we had a team in truly dreadful form pull itself together to reach the World Cup final and become the third ranked team in the world... and meanwhile a 22 year rookie came second by 1 single point (less than 1% difference!) in the Formula One World Championship, breaking all previously set records on the way... as for the national football team, we are still in the running for qualification and are arguably better positioned to qualify than either France or the current World Cup holder's Italy... I really don't understand how this makes us anywhere near s**t at sport?
Well done to the Arsenal though... hopefully they'll fall apart at the weekend. YNWA.
