I can also recomend Exit in serbia, Sziget in Hungary or Benicassem in Spain.
If you prefer the sound of fried electrics try Sonar which is awesome.
I will be at a fair few this summer i should imagine......and weather permitting ;D

i bought tickets to open'er in poland should be fun and also it's really cheap, whereas same line-up as uk festivals/coachella/werchter!

i've had "summercase" recommended to me...like reading / leeds it's split over 2 cities...barcelona / madrid...last years line up looked pretty good

don't know if anyone is as p*ssed off as me about reading's w*nk line-up? razorlight and two bands that, to me, have never been much to shout about (and that was 15 years ago). i know they get a lot of decent bands as the year goes on but they've not started well in my opinion.

I'll be there again.. Barcelona..ha.. can't fail. And street art galore ! There's also a cool little festival in your backyard. Futuresonic Manchester May 9-12th. A bit academic, but usually some great underground acts. I'll be over for that one also..

fine choice! got my tickets in the bag already  I've been to every major festival and Bestival just blows them away... it's more than just music - there's a real party vibe ALL weekend, the setting is just beautiful and the diverse line up is right up my street
the one festival that has escaped me for the last few years for one reason or another is Sonar - i WILL go one day. Am waiting for my friend to move to Barcelona this summer so I've got somewhere to stay for next year's

like open'er - beastie boys, bjork, lcd soundsystem, the roots, bloc party, groove armada, muse all this and more to come for three days for the price of ... 38.50 British Pounds, that's value!
accommodation available from 5 pounds / night!

I was gonna take the Chinook but they said they dint have room in the field
BTW, I went for the Chinook coz it has more wall space for hanging ma pictures ;D Plus it has a fold down balcony at the back for the Hot Tub
