The Execution of Gary Glitter , by manchestermike on Nov 12, 2009 10:23:47 GMT 1, I watched it, I thought the concept of it was quite interesting, and the guy who played Glitter was very good but the programme itself was nothing to write home about, there have been better programmes on the same lines before - Brass Eye did the paedophile thing very well. I also think it was quite exploitative of Glitter, no matter what he's done imagining him being sat at home watching that makes me a little uncomfortable.
It does bring up a debate, but a debate that is null and void due to EU law - and something I hope never gets overturned, you just need to get it wrong once for it to be a travesty

At the time that was released you had politicians dissmissing it with out even seeing , News papers jumping on the band wagon , really playing into the hands Chris Morris. It was all around the time that , there were these crazy protest by parents and children parading around the street , with plackards and all sorts, even with the young children chanting about pedo's . There was a pediatrician that got alot of abuse because people see her job title and thought that she was a bloody pedo. How bloody stupid is that,,, slightly funny that though how people can just forget any common sense .
