Now that Black Dog have been mentioned, B12 are currently reissuing all of their vinyl 12"s on CD. Top stuff.

I'm sure I saw Hawkwind at a Megadog as well. The sloping dance floor was a nightmare when fucked, you'd always end up down the front at the end of the night with all the empty cans in a mess

ART anyone?GIMMIK?BOC?posthuman?christ?funkstรถrung?and so on, and so on... and orbital were oh-so-important to me, too- when they announced their "end" i was so sad i decided to stop buying records because there couldn't come anything more interesting after them i believed @ that time...(i broke this rule though after a while ).

Favourite Orbital album anyone?
Think I'd have to go for 'the brown album' or 'in sides' although they all have there special moments.

orbital presale, by Prescription Art on Jan 29, 2009 21:15:30 GMT 1, My sad collector instinct was in full force for all that early electronic stuff before I found a more expensive hobby. A.R.T. was a great label - The Philosophy of Sound & Machine is classic. I've got almost every Aphex record (it was hearing Selected Ambient Works I for the first time that changed my life & musical taste forever, so I used to buy all his vinyl). Loads of Skam, Black Dog, Clear Records, Evolution / Global Communication, Autechre, . Since Boards of Canada though there's been little to excite me with the exception of AI Records - which incidentally is run by a forum member ,-) (Check out Claro Intellecto if you've not heard him... Piece of Mind is genius)
