Eavis is full of shit. Last year goes on about keeping Glastonbury for the young crowd and books Jay-Z but cus it doesn't sell out reverts back to the typical boring line-up. Probably tried to get Coldplay first

Best festival line-up 2009, by woodsman on Feb 27, 2009 12:30:21 GMT 1, I'll be at Big Chill, as I spent 5 years working there I'm entitled to freebies ;D also Green Man and Festinho (who I now work with - click signature link ;D) Festinho is run by mostly ex Big Chill crew, has a very similar music policy, and has a capacity this year of 2,500. Set in lovely grounds in a stately Home in Suffolk, we are (we believe) the cheapest 3-day camping festival in the UK this year, at only ยฃ45. And the best thing is, we are 100% not-for profit, so every beer you buy raises money for the ABC trust. Get drunk for Brazilian street-kids  hope to see some of you there, we're trying to get some brazilian street artists over, but nothing confirmed yet...
Hey P - so what would you recommend this year if you could only do the one? Seems like a better line up (although a bit more main stream) at BC this year, thought last year was average at best imo, but the price increase might me a step to far for me.....
