anyone got any tips to beat the queues? pylle rd? through shepton mallet/west compton?

Not sure what way you coming but if you head to Wells and take the road by Browns garden centre (just outside of Wells on the Glastonbury road) it actually comes out by Pilton stores bypassing everything.
It's a local road for local people mind.

I'm coming from Gillingham, dorset, so through Bruton coming from the other way.........
