Interesting. I paid ยฃ0.01 plus the ยฃ0.45 d/l charge. I'd glady give them another fiver for the CD and may just buy it again to do so.
The CD is amazing. Great album that mixes sounds from Pablo Honey through their entire catalogue. At times it sounds over produced. Not in a radiohead way, as they do a great job, but I found the first 2 tracks to clean. Still the album, on first listen is a complete winner.

I agree it carries over a lot of sound from their previous work, a virtual smorgasbord of radiohead. Reckoner and Jigsaw are my favourites from a first listen, but i reckon that may change over the next few days.
Good work all round..i like.

That package should be splendid! House of cards playing now. Love the layers of sound and that guitar in the background.

I don't think it will have quite the same appeal for the casual listener though... no real instantly loveable commercial type tracks on there!

What , by closeencounters on Oct 11, 2007 23:08:34 GMT 1, the fact my crappy laptop speakers distort everything means i'm waiting impatiently for the physical release - always more rewarding IMO anyway - and catching fleeting glimpses of tracks here and there... really looking forward to a complete listen though and encouraging signs from what people have posted here!
