Go to NME.com tomorrow and you will be able to download free a session from The Verve called The Thaw Session. When The Verve got together again for the first time in 9 years, they met in a recording studio in West London. Twenty minutes later, they picked up their instruments and started playing. The result was the Thaw Session. It is 14 minutes of pure Verve.
From tomorrow, you can go to NME.com and download this for free - simply for the joy of music!

Nottingham Arena on Tuesday 11th December 07
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday 26 October at 9.30am but will be available to subscribers to The Verve's mailing list via an exclusive pre-sale on Thursday 25th October at 9.30am.
The link and password for this pre-sale will be sent to all registrants within the next 48 hours".
I especially like the sound of the download. Should be very interesting!

Verve - free download tomorrow @ NME.com, by jipsy on Oct 22, 2007 13:08:01 GMT 1, I always find this difficult. The Verve split up on the high that was Urban Hymns and that's the way it should have stayed. Is what they're doing now any different to the Spice Girls reunion?
Let's hope I'm wrong and they wheel out some great tunes otherwise we'll be getting Bitter Sweet Symphony and The Drugs dont Work stuffed down our throat.
