Anyone going to Pistols Sat 10th???????, by jonpud on Nov 8, 2007 11:09:25 GMT 1, I am off to Brixton on Saturday to see Johnny and his band of old c**t giving it Bollox for the last time before they draw their pensions!
Just wondering if any other members off there that night and if so does anyone fancy meeting up for a pint or six?
Don't know the area at all so any suggestions regarding a decent drinking establishment would also be very welcome!!

next day alan mcgee was in, saying it was the best gig he'd ever seen, i thought he was taking the piss, but then i read noel gallagher had demoted oasis to being 'the 2nd best band on the planet after seeing the pistols', i realised i'd royally fucked up,
wont be making that mistake again.

They performed 10 days ago in LA at a sound check/warm up gig and reviews I have heard are saying it was electric!

Anyone going to Pistols Sat 10th???????, by JD on Nov 11, 2007 22:17:08 GMT 1, Went to the Pistols friday.Just as brilliant as I thought it would be.Pub next door playing the doc before the gig.The pub was great but full of plastic punks in leather skirts with tatoos on their faces very Kings road 1980 and not 100 club 76 so very missing the point but hey.Gig was great and I thoroughly recommend relieving the agonised touts of a ticket on mon or wed.Last chance ever to pogo to Lydon me thinks. He made a classic comment as he's now an American. He said about our football team he feels sorry for us because the Pistols used to be managed by a c**T called Mclaren too ;D
