Choose Your Camp, by johnas on Mar 16, 2007 14:32:00 GMT 1, are you an indie kid or cheesy quaver (raver)?
do you prefer The Stranglers or The Streets?
does Johnny Cash or Fifty Cent float your boat? (see what i did there?!)
or all we all just stereotypical, 'street art' hip hop junkies.... somehow, me thinks not

The closest to Country & Western I can stand is JJ Cale, but some of his stuff is too close for my liking.

If your tastes are very cosmopolitan what about this for a mix up,
Los Desterrados - 'The Exiles' - are a London based sextet who have created their own radical, rousing and rootsy take on the Medieval folk music of the Sephardic Jews. Los Desterrados boldly combine the Sephardic influences of Turkish percussion, Greek Sarki, Bosnian Tango and Spanish Flamenco with an indomitable urban-spirit that gives this medieval music a Metropolitan-makeover perfect for the 21st century Diaspora.

Do I!!!! I tried to get MrsH to let our first dance be to 'Tube Disasters' - gotta love the Flux, and 'Zounds' too. ;D
When I was in a crusty festival type band I got really into the Subhumanz and Culture Shock too (we even supported Citizen Fish a few times) - and supported some really wicked bands whose names are long forgotten due to exessive illicit substances
Oh happy days.... ;D
