You're probly all getting really pissed off..., by corblimeylimey on Jun 5, 2007 20:36:29 GMT 1, I've seen his dad (Roy) play at three times that I can remember, and used to have most of his albums on tape I've just got the one CD though.
I've just searched Nick Harper on the iTunes and played the only track there, he really does sound like his dad.

You're probly all getting really pissed off..., by gm on Jun 5, 2007 22:22:01 GMT 1, Nice pics It was through seeing Roy that I got into Nick in the first place - he used to come on and join his dad for a couple of songs in the shows and I noticed that it was Nick doing most of the twiddly intricate stuff during those songs. "Hmm..." thought I, "He's gonna be worth keeping an eye on". The rest, as they say, is history.
Certain songs he sounds a lot more like his dad than others. He's certainly the better guitarist (imo).
Started young, and with a good teacher, tho
There's a few more tracks that you can download for free from his website: www.harperspace.com
And PLEASE, LONDON, come and see him on Friday - if you hate him I'll refund you twice your entry fee...

According to this page: www.edinburghguide.com/festival/2004/fringe/review_music.php?page=h (about half way down) it could very well be!
The review's about my boy but the picture's the one you've used above.
Ace job, photo ed

You're probly all getting really pissed off..., by corblimeylimey on Jun 6, 2007 12:32:23 GMT 1, The pic you've posted gm with both together on stage looks a few years older than mine 70's perhaps?.
The gig's I saw didn't have any guest appearences by his son, just Roy accompanied by guitar, spliffs and lager ;D
If I was in London I'd check it out.

You're probly all getting really pissed off..., by gm on Jun 6, 2007 16:10:28 GMT 1, It's a shame you missed the Exeter gig on Sunday just gone
I think that pic up there must be must be about '68/'69ish - he'll be 42 later this month.
The instores this week have been going well, but haven't been strictly "In Stores"... more like up and down streets and in other stores than the one he's actually set up in.
Earlier today:

You're probly all getting really pissed off..., by corblimeylimey on Jun 7, 2007 20:29:07 GMT 1, 42!!! he's as old as me.
I'd have gone to the Exeter gig if it were free like the one in London.
