If im using a mobile phone in OZ (Adelaide) and I want to contact a friend in Berri, do I have to add a dialing code at the start of the number ?? I know its probably a stupid question but due to the size of the country I thought I may be an issue.

not art sorry...dialling codes within OZ, by Maxie on Apr 29, 2009 14:16:41 GMT 1, if its a uk mobile you are using with roaming enabled then you will have to add the +61 international code.
The state of SA has 08 as an area code but as long as you are in the same state you dont need to use it with an ozzy moby.

Yeah an australian mobile will just need the number as usual. you can get an australian sim card from woolworths supermarket (vodafone) and just use any handset you have but might need unlocking.
The sim cards are only 2 bucks or so......
