Out of all the 'corporate brands' I can think of, Adidas and Stussy are the two that spring to mind for being embraced by the 4 elements of hip hop culture and in turn giving back to the scene in profound ways. How many artists have benefitted from working with Adidas over the years? Ask Conor Harrington what he thinks, and I wear my Dave Kinsey shelltoes with pride! The people at Adidas are incredibly passionate about street art, just as they are about creating cutting edge performance sportswear. Their staff live and breath it with integrity and aren't jumping bandwagons. They have a heritage which includes hip hop culture that they are rightly proud of and this application will be insanely useful (as useful as this forum?) for people like me - who don't live in Brixton or wherever and do our best to take in as much art as possible on short trips to London...
Can't wait to download - and in the words of the Beasties - Rock my Adidas, I never rock Fila...
