The kiss is really nicely done, very clear and it looks like its been really well looked after ;D
Oh, and its a really interesting Pub, the walls are covered in signed posters from loads of well known groups that I guess have visited when they played in Brighton ;D looks like it has not been decorated since the 60's ;D

I was walking down trafalgar street tonight pas the Albert pub and saw that some nob head has taken a black spray can and totally and i mean totally obliterated the kissing coppers. all that is left of it is two black feet sticking out of the bottom of a big black spraypainted stain. I was going to take a picture - but it is just too depressing. That was a real landmark in this city. I can't imagine who would do such a thing...a pissed off policeman?? a rabid homophobe??...who knows...he is lucky i didn't catch him....the kissing policemen i fear is gone forever.

oh, that's awful. Its funny aint it ;D being done with Criminal Damage for doing graffiti over graffiti I should think the Police did not really know how to take this one 
I hope Banksy gets down and does another one ;D maybe they could put some sort of protection over it?

Here are some photographs we took... but...Its protected by plexiglass now!  I guess to protect it from being buffed again, now that I see what had happened. It made it hard to get a good photo without glare, not to mention I had to clear out all of the dumpsters and trash that was blocking the stencil.
This one was taken by my girlfriend:

There's an article on banksy's website about this saying how the guy's who did it were charged and fined and what gave it away was that they droe up to it in a van with their number on it which was then picked up by the cctv cameras.
