Banksy in Bristol, Park Street Mural, by hankpank on Jun 14, 2006 7:12:51 GMT 1, Nice, but is it confirmed as a Banksy? I have my doubts as the style is a bit wrong, too many colours and only a "funny pic" without any deeper meaning/dark undertone.

Banksy in Bristol, Park Street Mural, by mido on Jun 14, 2006 16:49:18 GMT 1, It is tagged and the stencils do look like his recent work.
Does nothing for me. But that's the beauty of art. you don't have to like everything someone does.

Banksy in Bristol, Park Street Mural, by Daniel Silk on Jul 19, 2006 17:10:34 GMT 1, Causeway Stadium is a swear word to any true Wycombe fan its Adams Park, thank you! ;D
We normally get voted as the most friendly ground in the country to come to as an away fan Im not sure thats really a good thing it seems that away fans are made more welcome than the home fans

Banksy in Bristol, Park Street Mural, by onearmedscissors on Aug 29, 2006 22:04:57 GMT 1, Hardly new but I thought Banksy's 'Mild Mild West' Along Glouster road deserved a mention
static.flickr.com/38/123128244_86e8232012_m.jpg
The man hanging from the window looks great from the top of a double decker bus- see it every morning on my way to school which is bloody brilliant. Pissed off I didn't notice the Scubaman pulling the plug on the council fountain had gone. Where are all the others round Bristol?

Banksy in Bristol, Park Street Mural, by namesnick on Sept 16, 2006 13:55:26 GMT 1, I was talking to a mate, telling him that there was a new Banksy about and I described it to him and told him we should go find it. All this time we were standing by some railings on a road. I looked up, and there it was, right slam bang in front of my face! Couldn't believe I'd nearly missed it!

Banksy in Bristol, Park Street Mural, by mido on Sept 21, 2006 19:34:27 GMT 1, hmm, that rabid Tory councillor is banging on again about getting rid of banksy's work and prosecuting him. despite 97% wanting the piece to stay!

'BANKSY DAUB MUST GO'
09:50 - 20 September 2006
A Tory councillor has launched a campaign to remove a popular spray- paint creation by graffiti artist Banksy from the side of a building. The stencilled painting - which shows a man fleeing his lover's bedroom - was daubed, without permission, on a property at the bottom of Park Street, Bristol, in June.
Council environment chiefs decided not to remove the piece after an online poll revealed that 97 per cent of Bristolians felt it should be saved.
But Spud Murphy, Conservative councillor for Avonmouth, says that Bristol City Council must, under Government guidelines, evaluate whether the painting harmed the character of the environment. He added that Banksy, who likes to keep his identity secret but is from the city, should be prosecuted.
Mr Murphy said: "It's ludicrous. The council have gone mad. From the outset I have been concerned over the message that the decision to keep this Banksy painting sends to other 'taggers' or graffiti artists."

It was in dry dock recently so mayeb either it was away, or the banksy has gone, or you are blind ;D

Banksy in Bristol, Park Street Mural, by KaL976 on Oct 27, 2006 5:52:04 GMT 1, Seb, if it's in it's usual spot the name of the road you want is, The Grove. It runs from Prince Street [out the back of The Arnolfini] to The Hole in the Wall Beefeater pub/Sevenshed Resturant area at the top end of Welshback. You'll need to be on the other side of the dock [cross Prince Street swingbridge & turn immediate left, or, head towards St Mary Redcliffe & hang a right onto the dock] to be able to see if the stencil is still there.

not sure if it's been repainted, but their myspace page has a pic of the banksy work...so i doubt they'd paint over it. and it re-opened about 2 or 3 weeks ago - the magic numbers played

Banksy in Bristol, Park Street Mural, by jellya on Feb 26, 2007 8:35:46 GMT 1, The M32 banksy has been written over in the last week - with the letters 'W. R. O. N. G'. Bit of a shame that as it was quite a statement piece when entering the city.
