Those that are going with Laz as of late are all pretty new to the art gallery world; Francis, JR, Tripp whereas Elms deal with artists who have been exhibiting for years. I have nothing against Laz but it sounds to me like you don't want to hear anything bad said about his gallery and their dealings. In my mind Laz messed up big time with one of my all time favourite artists last year, Micallef, and despite what people say about the work from the LA show having sold, how Laz handled him at that time was a joke and it knocked my confidence with regards to his gallery. Lately things have been handled much better and that, like I said, is how I hope it will continue.

Bobby you're pretty new to all this I take it? It's just that you sound like a bit of an idiot when you make such fly-by comments like that. Micallef has proven his talent over an 8 year period and is respected within this street art bulls**t world and also within the established fine art world. If you had any idea as to what it meant to have work shown by the Royal Academy, have work shown in the Tate, have been selected to provide a print for a Tate show on comptemporary art, have come 2nd in the BP National Portrait etc... you might not make such pathetic arguments.

You'll probably offer some really intelligent coma back like "all of that means jack s**t" which will just go to further highlight your ignorance and apparent lack of knowledge when it comes to Micallef. Regardless of what I or you think about any of the above the fact of the matter is that Micallef has more credentials within the art world than pretty much any other artist on here apart from banksy. Just because he is not flavour of the month you and others slate him as though he is a flash in the pan joke but show me where all the micallef secondary Micallef originals are?

The fact of the matter is that a large fan base of Micallef fans own a shed load of his work, the majority of which was bought before things went mad with Laz (he had been going for over 6 years prior to that) but you don't see them coming up on auction every other month - Neate, banksy, Faile etc... because his buyers weren't bell ends like the majority of idiots who visit here and shock, horror they didn't buyt to make a quick buck, they bought because the guy has serious talent.

Do I think 50k is too expensive for this piece on Laz's site? I;m not sure but your kind of comments are so daft and - it sounds like you base an artist's talents and credentials on the ebay market and these forums which is beyond ridiculous and quite unbelievable. Do you even have any idea what well known collectors were buying Micallef before he went to Laz? I doubt you'll care but you really should learn a bit more about the artists that you discuss in such a forceful manner otherwise you end up sounding like an idiot. If you have a problem with Laz that should have nothing to do with Micallef himself as an artist. If you don't like his art fair enough but to question his credentials in the manner that you did is pretty pathetic.
