Just had a confirmation email from HTFR and they have amended it to 1 copy only and only taken that amount. Means I should have one as someone there would have to have manually altered the order.....fingers crossed
...if some people ordered today and got confirnation and others that ordered on friday are having orders cancelled this stinks to me like something awful.
surely anyone with a backorder whould have had it fulfilled prior to any new copies going onto the site for public consumption?
am i missing something here?

They maybe had a limited amount Friday and sold out so refunded people but have had some more in yesterday and today?

1. Existing orders from last week and before the 12" became available today are being sorted through and if you ordered more than one it is being changed to 1.
2. Now they know how many people with existing orders who are getting 1 they can release the spare ones to the new people ordering today...
A mate of mine phoned up today when they were 'in' and ordered 1 (he was told he could only order 1), they said there was a backlog of existing orders for multiple copies but these were being downgraded to 1. They said this was fairer for everyone.
This is my take on the HtFR mealstrom. But again, it is not direct from the rats mouth so to speak! Only my opinion...
Still think, although the amount of orders seems high, because of the people that ordered multiple copies are changing to 1 more have become available.

I actually do mind you saying. A lot of people's discussion on here, including my own, is about the injustice of placing an order and being refunded, in comparison to those that placed a later order who have had success.
Now it doesn't bother me that I haven't got one. I have a white copy, and to be honest I'm not overly impressed with it (which is the reason I was going for a brown). My life will not change whether I get one or not. However, having been a htfr customer for over 10 years now, I believe it be a matter of principle.
I don't see how a comment like yours is particularly helpful. And besides, shouldn't you be busy putting together your case for suing this forum?  Obviously your lawyer hasn't advised you to stay away while it goes to court. Pity

i think from them seeing how quick the brown sold they upped the grey and white to 500... if you think about how many people are still waiting to get there shipping confirmation to me it still seems like there is not that many made - that is why there is delay of getting white and grey out...
if people have got the brown one congrats... shameful about the guy who ordered his friday and then had cancelled because it was through paypal... really dont know what to say about tht...
who had there LP cracked by the postie? any news about them sending you a brown one?? good luck to everyone...
i think sites around europe only had 20 per store...uk/states seemed to have split the rest between them... think the second edition of this LP will look different and alot more txt will be on it... s
